HoursTraining for the certificate III in hairdressing takes place in our modern training salon by a highly qualified team with extensive international experience. Students learn all aspects of hairdressing and on completion of the course are given assistance with securing a job in a salon. Students also complete 900 hours of work experience as part of the course.On completion of the Certificate III in Hairdressing students progress on to the Diploma in Salon Management. The course provides the students with the essential business management knowledge and skills that enable them to establish and manage a successful salon and pursue a prosperous hairdressing career in Australia. Course DurationCertificate III Hairdressing is delivered over 50 weeks at 30 hours per week. Course Entry RequirementsSatisfactory completion of Year 11 is required. Minimum age for entry into the certificate or diploma is 18 years of age. Mature age students with relevant work experience may be admitted through interview or assessment.The medium of instruction is English; evidence of a minimum English level of IETLS 5.0, satisfactory completion of ESL at Year 11 or demonstration of acceptable English-language level in a CIC English language test is required. Students from some countries are required to show IETLS 5.5, irrespective of CIC’s or Edward Beale’s Training requirements, see DIMIA at www.immi.gov.au
